Welcome to S. Fernald's Country Store

We're back! S. Fernald's Country Store started in Damariscotta, Maine 20 years ago, moved to Waldoboro for ten years, and now we've returned! Our new location at 50 Main St. is the old Lincoln County Weekly building, just as you cross the bridge from Newcastle.

We are an old fashioned country store that offers original deli sandwiches, a real soda fountain, penny candy, and plenty of odds and ends, emphasizing local goods.

We are bringing back one of the biggest collections of Moxie memorabilia in the state, and, of course, we sell Moxie!

We offer a casual and homey place for a great sandwich and to meet with friends. Once a week, we host Fernald's Forum, a short spot on the local cable access channel (LCTV) show Wuzzup, where we hear from you, the friends of Fernald's. Filming is on Wednesday afternoons at the store. 

We are delighted to be back, and we hope you are just as delighted that Fernald's has come home again!
